1. Introduction to Our Refund Policy

At The Quran Nest, our primary goal is to provide exceptional online Quran education that meets and exceeds your expectations. We understand that enrolling in an online educational program is a commitment, and we want you to feel completely secure and confident in your decision to learn with us. This comprehensive Refund Policy is designed to be transparent, fair, and easy to understand, ensuring that you know exactly what your rights are regarding tuition refunds, cancellations, and makeup classes.

By enrolling in our classes and submitting a payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms laid out in this Refund Policy. This policy forms a part of our overall Terms and Conditions.

2. The Free Trial Class Guarantee

We strongly believe in the quality of our teaching and the expertise of our certified tutors. To demonstrate this commitment, we offer a 100% free, no-obligation trial class to all prospective students before any payment is required.

2.1 Purpose of the Trial Class

The trial class serves several important purposes:

  • Assessment: It allows the teacher to assess the student's current reading level, Tajweed proficiency, and learning style.
  • Familiarization: It gives the student (and parents, in the case of minors) an opportunity to experience our interactive online classroom environment, test their internet connection, and get comfortable with the technology.
  • Tutor Matching: It ensures that the assigned tutor is the right fit for the student's personality and learning goals.

2.2 No Financial Risk

Because the trial class is completely free, there is zero financial risk involved in trying our services. We do not require a credit card or any payment information to book a trial class. You only proceed to paid enrollment if you are fully satisfied with the trial experience.

3. General Refund Eligibility

Once you have completed the trial class and officially enrolled by paying the monthly tuition fee, our standard refund rules apply. We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis, striving for fairness for both the student and the academy.

3.1 Full Refund Conditions

You may be eligible for a full refund of your current month's tuition under the following specific circumstances:

  • Service Unavailability: If The Quran Nest is unable to provide a teacher for your scheduled classes for more than two consecutive weeks, and we cannot offer a suitable substitute teacher or alternative time slots that work for you.
  • Accidental Overcharge: If our billing system accidentally charges you twice for the same billing period, the duplicate charge will be fully refunded immediately upon verification.
  • Cancellation Before First Paid Class: If you pay for the month but decide to cancel your enrollment at least 24 hours before your first officially scheduled paid class begins.

3.2 Partial Refund Conditions

Partial refunds may be issued in situations where some services have been rendered, but circumstances prevent the continuation of classes:

  • Mid-Month Cancellation due to Medical Emergencies: If a student faces a severe, documented medical emergency that prevents them from continuing classes for the remainder of the month, we may, at our discretion, issue a prorated refund for the unused classes.
  • Prolonged Technical Issues on Our End: If repeated, documented technical failures originating from our teachers' internet connections or our platform prevent classes from taking place, and makeup classes cannot be reasonably scheduled, a partial refund for the missed classes will be provided.

3.3 Non-Refundable Situations

Please note that refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Change of Mind: If you simply change your mind or lose interest in continuing the classes after the billing month has started and classes have been conducted.
  • Student Absences and "No-Shows": If a student misses a scheduled class without providing the required 24-hour advance notice, the class is considered forfeited. No refund or makeup class will be provided for unexcused absences.
  • Student Technical Issues: If a class cannot be conducted due to internet outages, power failures, or hardware malfunctions on the student's end. We recommend ensuring a stable connection before classes. (However, teachers will wait for 15 minutes to allow the student to resolve the issue before marking the class as missed).
  • Dissatisfaction with Progress: Educational progress depends heavily on the student's personal effort, practice outside of class, and natural learning pace. We cannot guarantee specific results, and therefore, slow progress is not a valid ground for a refund. If you are unhappy with your progress, please contact us so we can arrange a different teacher or modify the teaching approach.

4. Makeup Classes Policy

We understand that life is unpredictable. Rather than issuing frequent micro-refunds for missed individual classes, our policy relies heavily on a flexible "Makeup Class" system to ensure you get the full educational value you paid for.

4.1 When Makeup Classes are Granted

  • Excused Absences: If a student informs their teacher or the administration at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class time that they cannot attend, a makeup class will be scheduled.
  • Teacher Absences: If a teacher is absent due to illness, emergency, or technical difficulties on their end, a makeup class is guaranteed.
  • Official Holidays: Classes falling on major Islamic holidays (Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha) will be compensated with makeup classes.

4.2 Scheduling Makeup Classes

Makeup classes must ideally be scheduled within the same billing month or, at the latest, during the first week of the following month. It is the mutual responsibility of the student and the teacher to find a convenient time for the makeup class. If a student repeatedly fails to attend scheduled makeup classes, the makeup class will be forfeited.

Please note that makeup classes cannot be rolled over indefinitely or accumulated over several months, nor can they be converted into a cash refund or deducted from the next month's tuition fee.

5. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

If you believe you meet the criteria for a refund, or if you simply wish to cancel your subscription for the upcoming month, please follow these steps:

5.1 Cancellation Procedure

To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must notify us of your intent to cancel at least 3 days before your next payment due date. You can cancel your subscription by:

  • Sending an email to our support team.
  • Messaging our administration via the official WhatsApp number.

Once you cancel, you may continue to attend any remaining paid classes for the current billing month.

5.2 Refund Request Procedure

To formally request a refund for eligible situations, please email info@thequrannest.com with the subject line "Refund Request - [Student Name]". In your email, please include:

  • The student's full name and registered email address.
  • The date of the payment in question.
  • A detailed explanation of why you are requesting a refund.
  • Any supporting documentation (if applicable, e.g., proof of accidental double charge).

Our billing department will review your request within 3 to 5 business days. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request via email.

6. Refund Processing Time

If your refund request is approved, we will initiate the refund immediately from our end. The refund will be processed back to the original method of payment (e.g., the specific credit card or PayPal account used for the transaction).

Please note that while we process the refund immediately, it may take some time before the funds officially post to your account, depending on your bank or credit card issuer. This typically takes anywhere from 5 to 10 business days. If you haven't received an approved refund after 14 days, please contact your bank or credit card company first, as there is often some processing time before a refund is officially posted. If you have done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us.

7. Changes to the Refund Policy

The Quran Nest reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this website. By continuing to use our services after any changes are posted, you agree to the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about our refund guidelines.
